Ryan Reynolds teases Deadpool Christmas movie and fans are losing their minds

Ryan Reynolds has teased a possible Christmas Deadpool movie, and his fans can’t cope.

Taking to Twitter, the Marvel star sent his followers into meltdown as he shared a snap of himself dressed in character, reading a book to Fred Savage.

Just like the 1987 film The Princess Bride, Fred was tucked up all cosy in bed while the anti-hero was sat by his side reading a book to him (just like his grandfather did in the cult movie).

Writing in the caption of the hilarious snap, the 41-year-old said: ‘Thoughts?’ before adding: ‘Merry Christmas, Fred.’

And that was it, his fans broke out into a hundred different ideas as to what the picture could potentially mean.

We’re hoping it’s a mini Christmas movie!

One wrote: ‘I would cry if you remade the whole movie with adult Fred Savage and Deadpool as the grandpa.’

Another added: ‘Psssst… Sir… It’s never too late to put in a musical number.’

Someone else commented: ‘Deadpool can read me a bedtime story anytime! Also, he’d make a great Santa Clause.’

He is in a big red suit after all!

Earlier this week it was announced that there was an Untitled Deadpool Movie set to hit the big screens in less than three months.

Ryan kept that one quiet.

20th Century Fox revealed their their film Alita (which was set to be released on 21 December 2018) had been pushed back to hit the big screens nearer the Chinese New Year.

Meaning they had a slot free for a potential movie (aka Untitled Deadpool Movie).

Whether or not this will be a PG13 version of the second film, or a brand new Deadpool 3 movie all together, we’ll just have to wait and see.

But is seems the actor is keeping busy, as he recently trolled himself over working on a new movie with Michael Bay.

Discussing what it was like working with the Transformers director, in a mock-interview-style clip, he joked: ‘Best part about shooting with Michael Bay?

‘I don’t know, a lot of people would say the action but for me, it’s the stillness, you know? Those quiet moments.’
