BTS's RM announces solo mixtape after being voted best leader in K-Pop

BTS’s RM has just been voted the best leader in K-Pop.

And now he has announced that he’ll be dropping his very own mixtape.

We say mixtape â€" the pictures released of his track listing have the word ‘mixtape’ all scrawled out and replaced with ‘playlist’.

In a tweet, BigHit Entertainment revealed the news to their eight million followers and shared a snap of the list of songs.

They wrote in the caption: ‘#RM #mono. Tracklist,’ while the seven-song-playlist included the likes of Tokyo, Seoul, Moonchild, Bad Bye and Forever Rain.

The pictures also revealed that there will be a special collab with the indie rock band Nell.

BTS retweeted the post and told their followers that the masterpiece will be released on 23 October.

Literally. Three. Days.

Fans were sent into meltdown once they he ard the news and revealed how excited they were for its release.

One wrote: ‘I was chilling in bed (don’t judge me) and got a notification and just casually clicked on it. They should have warned a bitch so I could prepare myself.’

Another added: ‘This 7 songs are going to save the Korean Music industry till BTS releases a new album.’

Someone else commented: ‘You really should warn a person before you casually give them a heart attack.’

It seems it has been a busy week for the 24-year-old after the band returned home following their stint in the UK.

Earlier this week he was voted the best leader in K-Pop, according to the South Korean music channel Mnet.

They ran a poll to find out who was the most loved leader in music, listing six options for fans to choose between.

And RM was the clear winner, gaining nearly 53 per cent of the vote after 121,193 music lovers voted for the rapper.

RM’s nearest rival was SHINEE star Onew, who achieved 31 per cent of the vote.

In third place was SEVENTEEN’s S.Coups, followed by INFINITE leader Sunggyu.
