'I enjoyed 'The House with a Clock in its Walls' movie but the ending is crazy'

In the movie review, film critic Gayle Edmunds shares her views of the gothic horror inspired movie, 'The House with a Clock in its Walls'.

Edmunds says that the movie is based on a 1973 young adult novel by John Bellairs.

She adds that Bellairs wrote 15 of these gothic horror novels in that time period.

Cate Blanchett gets a win here, she and Jack Black did a great job. They are very funny.

Jonathan Barnavelt (Jack Black) is a warlock that lives in a house with hundreds of clocks, and his nephew, Lewis (Owen Vaccaro) comes to live with him after he's orphaned says Edmunds.

She adds that Lewis arrives to this bizzare place with pumpkins outside the door, and clocks all over the walls.

It starts very well and it's very sweet.

Edmunds says that Lewis is a bit of a misfit who gets drawn into a dark world of magic.

I enjoyed it but it gets a little bit crazy towards the end.
